Quintessence

Daylilies floating endlessly on a summer ocean,

the exotic music sung by colorful doves,

a gentle breeze through white linen,

contouring her body.

Soft kisses pressed on milky skin,

longing to see her beauty under my sheets,

her body’s morning warmth impelling against my love,

fluttering hearts.

Pondering under a love spell,

surrendering emotions once barricaded,

ardently whispering her name,

every breath avidly anticipates her reaction.

A romantically cursed wordsmith,

reliving unlived lives,

like daylilies floating endlessly on a summer ocean,

surrendering emotions once barricaded.

Perfectly flawed,

compatibly opposite,

discordantly delicate,

reliving unlived lives,

with her.
